Art School Policies
As a member you will receive 10 % off Classes, Workshops & Art Supplies & 20% off Custom Framing.
For every $100 spent here at Visual Expressions you will receive a stamp on your membership card once that card is filled you will receive a $50 Gift Card. Membership benefits are good for the whole family.
The cost to become a member is $39 annually. It is the responsibility of the member to present the card at the time of purchase to receive stamp.
Early registration is encouraged as for registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Classes & workshops with insufficient enrollment will be cancelled 2 days prior to the start date.
You may register online, by mail, in person, phone or fax with Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Check or Cash. A non refundable deposit of ($30 for classes/50% for workshops) plus fee or payment in full is due upon registering. (A fee of $25 will be charged for any checks returned for non-sufficient funds.)
Classes can be prorated to fit your needs if you have a conflict in your schedule. Please call 972-293-1117 for prorated pricing.
VECAS is not responsible for providing make-ups or issuing refunds, credits or transfers for days or entire workshops/classes missed as a result of illness, emergencies or other events beyond the school’s control. Students will receive a full tuition refund only in the event that VECAS cancels the class/workshop. If the instructor is not able to teach a class the class will be rescheduled.
These policies will be strictly enforced. Call the school prior to registering if you have any questions regarding cancellation, transfers and refund policies.
VECAS reserves the right to change its calendar, withdraw or modify a course or substitute instructors at any time. The school will make every effort to notify students of major changes in the schedule. VECAS reserves the right to require withdrawal of any student whose conduct is deemed detrimental to the school.
Upon registration for classes or attending events you herby agree for your photograph of your self and/or of your artwork to be used for online Social Media Marketing purposes and our website.
When a class or workshop is full, interested students may sign-up on the waiting list. No fee or deposit is required to be on the waiting list. Students are notified of openings in the order they sign up on the waiting list. When students are notified of openings, they must pay the tuition, or they will lose their place on the list.
Non Refundable Deposit:
Students enrolled in classes/workshops will be notified by e-mail approximately seven (7) days before the class/workshop as a reminder that the balance must be paid. The balance payment is due no later than the first day of the class/workshop. At that time, the student’s credit card will automatically be charged the balance due unless the student makes other payment arrangements (i.e. mails a check or provides an alternate credit card number). Note: All cancellations must be in writing. Please see our Refund Policy.
All cancellations must be made in writing. There are no exceptions. You may mail or fax a letter (972-293-1117 or send an e-mail - firstname.lastname@example.org) to cancel your spot in a class/workshop. Cancellations are not accepted over the phone.
If you cancel more than thirty (30) days before the first day of the workshop VECAS will retain your 50% deposit. You will receive a refund of any additional tuition you have paid for that workshop. If you cancel twenty-nine (29) days or less before the start of a workshop, you will forfeit your entire tuition for that workshop. You will not get a refund. However, a friend or family member may attend the workshop in your place, or you may donate your spot as a scholarship to a financial need student.
Cancellations for weekly classes must be submitted in writing no less than fourteen (14) days before the class is to begin. A $30 cancellation fee will be charged. Cancellations made less than fourteen days before the class will forfeit the entire tuition. There is no refund for no-shows or withdrawals after the class begins. There will be no refund for VECAS memberships.
