Clay, Paint, or Craft Class for Adults. All Levels

 

What would you like to do? Can't make up your mind? Try this class where you are not limited to one medium. You can learn different techniques to work with clay, acrylic painting, jewelrey making, and textile crafts.

 

Clay-Work with clay to create your own pots, cups, sculpture or tiles for mosaics.

 

Textile Crafts-Try your hands at Fabric decoration, sewing, or doll fabrication

 

Jewelry-Learn how to use jewelry tools to wire wrap and properly string new breads and repurpse old ones to create beautiful jewelry.

 

Acrylic Painting- Get inspired and discover all about color, brushes, and the different additives for texture and special effects.

Clay Supply List:

-25lbs. White Stoneware Clay

(Teacher will provide suggestions for cone 05 or Cone 5-6 glazes according to project)

If you already have some supplies please feel free to bring in what you have.

 

Acrylic Supply List:

-Plastic or Paper Plates

-Synthetic Brushes – in various sizes flats and rounds for Acrylics

-Paint Color- Liquitex Acrylics-Soft Body- (Aliziran Crimson, Burnt Sienna, Yellow Ochre, Cadmium Yellow Med., Cadmium Red, Ultramarine Blue, Raw Umber, Burnt Umber, Cobalt Blue, Hookers Green, Phthalo Blue, Phthalo Green, & Titanium White)

-plastic container for water

-Canvas size in proportion to what you are painting.

If you already have some supplies please feel free to bring in what you have.

 

Supply list for all other mediums, projects/materials will be discussed the first day of class.

    If the instructor is not able to teach a class the class will be rescheduled.
